Ecast
has catalog licenses with each major publisher, all major-minor
and hundreds of independent publishers (including well-known performer
writers such as the Eagles, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Lenny
Kravitz, Gwen Stefani, Offspring, AC/DC and The White Stripes).
Ecast has licenses with all three PROs - ASCAP, BMI and SESAC for
public performance in the USA.
The Advantages
1. Ecast tracks and reports usage on a composition by composition
basis listing the title, performing artist, album, writer, number
of plays, the split and the royalty calculation.
2. Ecast has total control of all music available on its network
at all times. Music can be added or deleted from the entire network
instantaneously.
3. Ecast is piracy-free. The music
is only performed on-demand; it is not sold or distributed and never
leaves our network.
Security
Ecast operates a secure and private network. Access is firewall
protected, with security clearance limited to specific employees
who maintain the database. Music content is protected during
transmission using SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
encryption and again separately encrypted using a secure Windows
file system when stored on site.
